Hi Kris and thanks for visiting my blog! You asked about my ornament images; I use a macro lens and a tripod so I can attain longer shutter speeds. I also shoot without room lighting and without flash, and I'm guessing that may be the reason the shadows are minimized. You could experiment with that and see if that helps. I love your images, too! I love how you captured families having fun together. Family portraiture is hard but I think you've done a great job!
