Wordless Wednesday - Walking with Hubby

Haven’t gotten to my To Do List yet…but have been on a few walks with my hubby after work. 

Somebody didn’t want to be featured in a photo….so consider this a compromise - and yes it was taken with my phone.  ;)

I may be a bit behind on my photo editing...a couple months behind.  To combat this I've come up with a list....an Edit To Do List:

Trip to the Airport

Last week I went with my mother to drop my grandmother off at the airport.  Being it was only two days after I got my first Android phone...many pictures were taken to document our "adventure".

We found parking in the Economy Lot...

Took the courtesy shuttle from the lot to the airport...

Argued over who was going to cover parking (both Grandma and Mom were determined to be the ones to pay)....

And took a last minute photo to remember the day...

 

 

So, it wasn't much of an adventure...but it was an excuse to hang out with family for a bit and test out the new camera on the phone.  So far I'm digging it and wondering why it took me so long to make the upgrade. 

Wordless (kinda) Wednesday - Coffee & a Biscotti with Mom

Living an hour and a half away from my mother, we don't get to spend a lot of time hanging out.  This means taking advantage of each moment we get...and finding an excuse to enjoy some tea (for mom), coffee (for me), and biscotti.  The biscotti didn't last long enough to make it in the picture.  ;)

I hope you had as much fun as I did this past 4th of July (even if you don't celebrate - your day still could have rocked - and I hope it did).  Feel free to participate in the Wordless Wednesday Linky - even if it's not too wordless.

Happy 4th of July - Too Adorable!

I wasn't going to do a full post...but after a couple hours editing...I can't help but share a few more 4th of July pictures.  ;) 

This little one is adorable hanging out on the blanket...

Up close and personal...

High up in the air...

And even just playing in a bucket....

Let's face it...she knows how cute she is...

Let's just hope the boys never figure it out.  ;)

 

 

Lesson 1: Pay attention to background details...Having a tree directly behind your little one can make it look like something is growing out of your little one's head. 

 

Lesson 2: If you have a less than desirable background adjust your aperture to keep your primary focus on the little one.

 

Lesson 3: Don't forget to get mom in some of the pictures. Mom is a key member of the family who can be so busy taking care of everyone that she ends up missing in albums.  Consider having a play time break.  Advantage of taking the shots during playtime is you have the perfect excuse for a quick refresh.
